  • FTE reduction resulted in weak process governance, lost knowledge & a suboptimal cultural health with minimal accountability

  • The business wanted to boost productivity and reduce operational costs for minimal CAPEX investment



Approach

  • Captured and quantified the challenges across the value chain from Bids through to aftermarket support

  • Carried out a cultural assessment to identify suboptimal ways of working within and between teams and business functions

  • Built a bedrock of insight to clearly define and align on the key operational and cultural problems to overcome

  • Quantified and prioritised the large opportunities and quick wins to being significant productivity improvements

  • Worked with the team to carry out implementation of 3 largest opportunities and first wave of quick wins

  • Productivity opportunity over £1.9m identified

  • Ability to increase annual production by 18%-22% with no CAPEX

  • Reduction of cost of goods sold between 3%-6%

  • Improved team & cross functional ways of working through improved communication & management coaching
